"What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?" Hebrews 2:6
That is a loaded question that many want an answer to these days. God created man out of his own image, to walk along side him and have a deep relationship with him. Who am I. I am a child of God, thats who! He is mindful of me and cares for me. I want to serve him in such a way that I can walk along with him in life as Adam and Eve did during the first days. Christ is above all things, yet he listens to my prayers. I must fix my thoughts on him (3:1) and never turn away from him. I must fill my life with the Word, which is "living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (4:12). Lord submerge me into your Word and tattoo it on my heart. You Word is alive in me and brings comfort and peace. Thank you for allowing me to be special to you. I desire a deep relationship with you, as if I were walking with a friend. Cover me with your arms and help me to encourage others around me. Allow my family to grow into this relationship with me. Help them to experience you in a mighty way. A way, Lord, that can not be shaken from them. You are my breath and life, my soul, my deliverer, my healer. In all these things I lift to you, in Jesus' holy name-Amen.
