The Lord created us with his own breath and dust. The image is amazing to think about; dust swirling around and forming into cells and skin, then him taking a deep breath and blowing it into our lungs. Amazing. I never realized how important we are, until I read this a couple of years back. He made us to Rule over every living creature. Satan is living, so we rule over him. He is not powerful and cannot control us unless we give him that power. In Chapter 4 verse 7 God said, "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." Satan only wants to destroy you and me, nothing more. We must master how he moves in our lives and what buttons he pushes so that we can take him down! This life we live on this earth is one of a spiritual battle; the battle of good and evil. God desires our hearts just as much as Satan. So, who will you choose today. A life that leads to eternity in heaven or one to the burning gates of hell. You and I can overcome Satan's grips, because he is so small and with the Lord God's help. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The last note would be that I could spend my life walking with God, like Enoch, and can be just taking away.
Lord God you are so awesome. Your power is great and I thank you for allowing me to experience the freedom in this power. You tell me that I am made from your likeness, so the chance for me to become kind, patience, have self-control, be faithful, and have unending joy is very high. I do pray these things for me and my family. Leads us to righteousness and keep us from danger. Allow us to discern what is you and the evil one. In Jesus' name-Amen
